I cant even begin to describe how much her music meant for me. Her influence on songwriting is amazing. Desmond Child, Joni Mitchell started writing/playing piano because of her, her influence on Todd Rundgren is also clearly evident as well many others. Her music and voice convey's every emotion i could ever feel in life She was recently inducted into the Rock'n'roll hall of fame here is fortunately a film clip from that induction with Bette Midler giving a emotional speech and Laura's son Giles accepting the award on her behalf. (their tributes actually made me shed a tear)
Picking any song of her's to recommend is very difficult, but if i had a gun against my head...
